T1 Ash. Fell due to fungal infection of inonotus hispidus. This has been present for at least 5/6 years. Approximately 4 years ago the crown was thinned by 30% to reduce loads generated by wind and weight. Recently, a significant limb has failed luckily causing no damage. Targets below include garden area and outbuildings which cannot be moved. The risk of another limb failing and causing damage to property or injury to people is unacceptably high.
