Proposal:
- T1 - Oak Target prune to remove individual lowest limb approx 100mm in diameter which is noticeably lower than the rest of the canopy and overhangs the garden of house number 13. Prune adjacent area above beech hedge to remove minor sublateral branches sub 50mm in diameter, in order to raise crown above the picnic bench in the garden of number 11. In total this work will raise the canopy in the targeted area by no more than 2m, to a total height of approx 4-5m. The work is intended to allow more sunlight to penetrate beneath the canopy, meaning the clients can make better use of the end section of their gardens, whilst having a minimal impact on the overall appearance, or health of the tree. Tree is located on Lady's Incline, beyond the portion owned by Poynton Town Council, however, the branches to be pruned are entirely located above the gardens of 11 & 13 Oakfield Rd. Both of these parties have requested the work be undertaken.
