Proposal:
- T3, Black Pine - Fell. The Applicant Wishes To Fell This Tree Due To Concerns About Its Safety, And Suitability For Long Term Retention. One Of A Group/Line Of 4 Pines On The Southern Boundary Of The Property, It Leans Towards The Property At A Significant Angle And Shows Signs Of Corrective Growth, Despite This There Is A Significant Gap Between It And The Canopy Of The Adjacent Tree Suggesting The Possibility Of Continued Movement. The Tree Is Codominant, Splitting Into 3 Stems, The Lower Portion Of The Tree Was Covered In Ivy, Which Was Removed To Enable Assessment Of The Main Unions, One Of Which Is Particularly Tight, With Little Room For Growth And A Heightened Risk Of Failure. One Meter To The South West Of The Tree Is The Stump Of A Sycamore That Has Felled Within The Last Year Or So, This Tree Will Have Afforded The Tree A Degree Of Protection, So Its Removal Will Have Increased Its Level Of Exposure During High Winds.
