Proposal:
- The Oak tree (T1 on the TPO Document), at the north entrance to the facility, needs slightly pruning and trimming back to enable safe access and visibility when entering the premises. In addition, across from the Oak tree, is a small oval shaped section with a broken black line of the TPO - again, slight trimming back to enable visibility of the road - currently very hazardous to try and pull out safely. Currently no issues with height clearance for our HIAB vehicles down the access road, however, our tree surgeon suggests we apply now to be allowed to clear the overhead branches, without damaging the Trees themselves, to ensure members of the public are safe from falling branches and that vehicles don't suffer any damage - the road is only 8-10ft wide down the access path and this is the only overhead clearances that would eventually need to be cut back slightly. Clearance currently 4m, ideally we'd want 5m overhead clearance. Finally, in regards to the hardstanding, some of which appears to be affected by this TPO - ANY TREE or SHRUB that is currently damaging the hardstanding concrete, or fencing, on the perimeter of this Self Storage Facility - formerly the Arclid Depot, would ideally need to be removed for both safety for members of the public on site - going up to the fence lines visible of the TPO Maps, but also for financial viability of our business - without being able to use this hardstanding for its intended purpose, we will struggle to break even. No big trees visible (Oaks etc), on our second inspection, however, some young birch trees and some small fir/conifers are starting to grow into the hardstanding and the fencing itself.
