2 Horse Chestnut Trees (T2 and T4) to be removed as they are at the end of life, have severe brown spot, and reduced canopies. Removing these trees would provide more light and space to the 2 Lime Trees. (T1and T3). The two Horse Chestnut Trees (T2and T4) are approximately 10 meters from our property. If T2and T4 do fail they would cause considerable damage to our property. The Tree Surgeon advised the field behind our house could be used to fell the trees, as he knows the farmer and access would be easier. No replanting of new trees due to lack of space. 2 Lime Trees (T1 and T3) to be cut back to encourage new growth. The Tree Surgeon advised pollarding to remove excessive suckers, with whole crown reduction to 12 meters above ground level. This will provide sufficient clearance to our property.
