The Tree Is In The Far Left Corner Of Our Property Behind Our Boundary Fence And Also Behind The Fence Of The Property Behind Ours 14 York Crescent. We Are Therefore Unsure As To Ownership. The Tree Roots Also Go Into 61 Hazelwood Road. We Would Like To Remove The Tree As It Has Destroyed The Concrete Posts Of Our Fence Which We Would Like To Replace Making It Impossible For Us To Secure Our Garden Which As We Have Dogs And A Number Of Disabled Children Is Problematic. As The Tree Straddles A Number Of Properties But We Are Unsure Who Owns We Would Like To Remove Tree In It’s Entirety As It Will Continue To Cause Damage To Property And Affect The Security Of The Property. The Tree Is An Ash Tree As The Tree Straddles Property And Ownership Is Unclear We Would Not Propose To Replace The Tree As Anything Put In Its Place Would Only Cause The Same Issues Over Time. Following Conversations With A Tree Surgeon He Was Sceptical That The Tree Was Old Enough To Be Covered By The TPO In Our Area Macclesfield Borough Council (Wilmslow Park No.2 Wilmslow) Tree Preservation Order 1974 Which Came Into Force In 1976. Also If The Tree Is Not On Our Property It May Be Not In The TPO As The Property Behind Is Beyond The Order.
